Since the age of 12 I've spent my time on building sites and in workshops. At the age of 16 I enrolled at college and started my 3 year tuition of carpentry and joinery. At the end of the first year I achieved my City & Guilds Foundation Construction Award in Carpentry & Joinery and went on to earn my Intermediate level and Level 3 Diploma NVQ in Bench Joinery.
After finishing college I managed to get a job in Cambridge working for a small family run joinery firm. After honing my skill is in Cambridge I helped set-up a new workshop in Greenwich and worked there for over 18 months. The work ranged from bespoke oak furniture for a big house renovation up in Yorkshire to much more contemporary furniture for commercial clients in London.
I left to project manage the Dalgarno Gardens project. This entailed co-ordinating specialised trades and managing the permanent, trusted team working with me. This included ordering materials, liaising with the client, building control officers and the structural engineer, helping with the design and most importantly, getting stuck in!
Below are some of the services I can provide. However, please get in touch and we can talk through any specific requests you might need, however small or large the job may be!
